Continuing and Previous Efforts


The Association understands the value of giving back to the community through both charitable activities and support for educational programs. Proceeds from the Association's signature event - the annual Portland International Auto Show - benefit local charities such as the Boys and Girls Club of Portland. The association and member dealers have donated millions of dollars to Oregon nonprofit organizations, including:

Victory Academy

Victory Academy (Victory) is Oregon’s only dedicated year-round private school, serving Oregon’s children affected by Autism. Victory is accredited through the Northwest Accreditation Commission (an accreditation division of AdvancEd) and approved by Oregon Department of Education.

Victory serves students with Autism (currently age 3/preschool through age 15/grade eight). In September 2015, at the opening of the new Victory Academy Campus, the school will begin its first ninth grade class and offer extended, modified, and full diploma options.

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.

Meals on Wheels People

To enrich the lives of seniors and assist them in maintaining independence by making nutritious food, social contacts and other resources accessible. To the extent possible we will also serve disabled and institutionalized individuals and other nutritionally at-risk populations.

We accomplish this through an organization that is community-based, emphasizes volunteer involvement, and is financially sound.
